Does anyone remember Y2K? At midnight on the 31st of December 1999 our IT systems would revert to zero and life as we knew it would reboot; or the Icelandic eruption which left us stranded around the world, or the twin towers which changed the equilibrium of our existence…we are resilient – it is part of what it is to be human, but everything has ground to a halt; this one is different, or is it?

“On hearing ill rumour that Londoners may soon be urged into their lodgings by Her Majesty’s Men, I looked upon the street to see a gaggle of striplings making fair merry, and no doubt spreading the plague well about.”

Samuel Pepys, London 1664

Without a doubt a new normal will emerge and great solutions with it.

During the last recession we saw the emergence of new solutions launching Airbnb, Uber, Pinterest and WhatsApp. So we can expect a creative response from the change and uncertainty, particularly with so much more time to think and plan.

At Dragonfly AI we offer instant visual insight into what our consumers see first both online and in the real-word, which in turn helps organisations to maximise the impact and effectiveness of their content at a time when clear communication has never been more important.

We want to do our bit to help towards supporting the collective whole and think we can make two simple offers which might help; and if they do we would love to hear from you…

1. Find out about how you can become a networker, as part of our innovation ecosystem, and work with Dragonfly to extend our reach to brands, agencies and businesses, particularly those who could do with our help right now

2. Let us run a free analysis report to help you instantly understand how to optimise the flow of your digital journeys and maximise the value of every interaction by ensuring your consumers are seeing what you want them to see first.

2020 was destined to be the start of the decade celebrating AI and technology, but who could possibly predict these strange times, navigating unchartered waters as we rediscover our connection with the planet and what it is to be human.  Taking solace from the opportunity as well as the hiatus; I read that Shakespeare wrote King Lear whilst in isolation from the plague, “out of the strong comes forth sweetness…”

“Companies that navigate disruptions better often succeed because they invest in their core customer segments and anticipate their behaviours”.McKinsey Risk Practice 2020

Our business is precognition, understanding what the brain sees first, in our world of proliferated content could never have been more relevant.  As we lockdown and isolate within families, thank goodness for the internet as it becomes a true social enabler with a vital role to play. Amazon have announced they intend to employ 100,000 people globally with immediate effect to help support last mile logistics to meet demand for the expected increase of online purchases.

Inevitably our consumption of media will increase as TV consumption, social media and eCommerce behaviours spike.  We aim to make sense of invisible information, using artificial intelligence that replicates the cues that the brain is continuously deciphering to help us see what the brain sees first.

In a mature digital market saturated with content, helping brands and businesses ensure that they are delivering key messaging and your content is human ready using real time analysis before you publish has never been more significant.

One thing is for sure these unmapped waters require us to act differently as a business and we believe that offering the benefits of our solutions now to help business partners to achieve instant improvements is the right thing to do.

So we would like to offer our services now to run a pro-bono performance report on your assets right now to help you unlock the potential from invisible insights when you need it most; and we can work towards a collaborative business case when you are comfortable the results are clear

It has been truly amazing to meet so many innovative people and brands and we can safely say that Dragonfly has landed pretty well.

Many thanks to Michael, James and Nik at Black Swan for hosting us and setting up many of these invaluable opportunities.  Black Swans excellence is evident in this incredible marketplace. New York – we will be back! With a knife, a fork, a bottle and a cork…
