The new partnership’s ‘injection test’ combines Dragonfly’s predictive heatmapping and Molecular BBDO’s simulation environment, enabling brands to measure the effectiveness of their content across the worlds biggest e-retailers including Amazon, Alibaba and Walmart, to ensure content is “human ready” before launching. Brands are able to ‘inject’ their products into their chosen simulation e-commerce environment and analyse the saliency of everything from digital packaging, product banners to core messaging across their descriptions.

As brands fight for share of attention across eCommerce stores, being able to understand how your product stands out across competitors and other content is vital in being able to maximise visibility and increase sales.
This breakthrough in technology comes as brands continue to rethink their strategy to keep up with shifting consumer behaviour as a result of the pandemic.
A 2021 report from Retail Economics and Natwest found that, since the pandemic began, nearly half (46%) of UK consumers have purchased a product online that they had previously only ever purchased in store.
These trends don’t seem to be slowly down, as 2021 ecommerce sales are expected to account for 18.1 percent of retail sales worldwide. What’s more, Statista forecasts that these figures will keep growing and reach 22% in 2023.
